*Teacher Appreciation Week: *

*Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Recognizing that some of our families are learning remotely and some are in person, we wanted to make it easy for everyone to participate. Let’s celebrate our teachers with a week full of fun filled, socially distant, and COVID friendly activities.*

*Monday, 5/3: Chalk the Walk Monday* –
*Over the weekend get out your sidewalk chalk and decorate the sidewalks and black tops surrounding the school with messages for your teacher. Please remain masked and distanced while on school grounds. *

*Tuesday, 5/4: Wear Your Teacher’s Favorite Color! * –
*Teachers will post their favorite color outside of their classrooms on Monday.*

*Wednesday, 5/5: Write a Note to Your Teacher*

*Thursday, 5/6: Draw a flower or bring a flower for your teacher*

*Friday, 5/7: Show your WES spirit and wear red and purple. The PTO will be providing lunch for teachers and staff*

*Throughout the week teachers will be given sweet treats to show our appreciation.*

*We are looking for new members to join our PTO. Please join us at one of our information meetings next Monday, May 3 at 9:00am, 3:30pm and 7:30 pm via Zoom (Zoom link to follow)*
